We took one of the teardrops out for a weekend in the Boulder mountains and absolutely LOVED our experience. First off, Roger (the owner) is an extremely pleasant and humble man. Doing business with him was a very refreshing experience. Secondly, the trailer was super clean, easy to hook up/use and very practical (especially while camping/traveling with a newborn). We spent a lot of time driving to different lakes, and it was so easy to just close the doors and leave on a dime without the hassle of rolling up a tent or other equipment. The awning was a great addition as well, especially when it started to rain on us! I was pleasantly surprised with how easy it was to set it up. All in all, it was a 10/10 experience and we will DEFINITELY be renting from Orogen Outfitters again!

I used one of these trailers during some chilly nights at the Pine Lake Campground in Utah near Bryce Canyon National Park. The trailer was very comfortable and kept me warm during the cold nights. I didn’t use the electrical hookups, but it would have been straightforward to use if the campground had hookups. Orogen delivered and set up the trailer, and everything was seamless. There was plenty of room for me and my gear, and the trailer could have easily fit two even though it was the smaller model. If you are looking for a hard shell camping set up at a great price with excellent customer service, I would highly recommend Orogen Outfitters.

This was my first time sleeping in a compact/teardrop style trailer. At first glance I didn’t think it would be much different than a good tent. I couldn’t have been more wrong. I was surprised by how much more comfortable and warm the trailer was. I slept well despite temperatures dipping into the low 20s at night. I was also in a group site with some noisy campers and the trailer was also fairly soundproof. After long days in the sun and wind the trailer provided excellent shelter from the elements. It felt like going indoors while still maintaining amazing mountain views through the windows. I was also very impressed with the customer service. It all made for a great, hassle free experience.
